PHASE 1: PLAN & DEFINE GOALS

Purpose: To know why you’re running the campaign and what success looks like.

PHASE 2: RESEARCH

Purpose: To make sure your targeting and keywords align with real user intent.

 

PHASE 3: STRUCTURE & SETUP

Purpose: To build campaigns cleanly, with organized ad groups and tracking.

Choose campaign type:

  • 🔴 Video (YouTube)
  • 🟠 Performance Max
  • 🟡 Remarketing

  • Output: Output: Campaign type selected.

    Create a campaign in Google Ads:

  • Choose objective (Leads, Sales, Website traffic)
  • Set name (e.g., “BrandName | LeadGen | USA | Search”)
  • Select location, language, bidding strategy, and daily budget
  • Set bidding strategy:

  • Manual CPC (for control)
  • Maximize conversions (for automation)
  • Target CPA / ROAS (for optimized campaigns)

  • Output: Campaign shell built with correct settings.

    PHASE 4: AD GROUPS & AD CREATION

    Purpose: To organize ads by keyword theme and write converting ad copy.

    PHASE 5: TRACKING & ANALYTICS

    Purpose: To ensure every click and conversion is measurable.

    Set up conversion tracking with GTM, GA4, and Google Ads to track key actions accurately.

    Add UTM parameters:
    These are very important to identify the source of lead.

    Link Google Ads with GA4, Search Console, and Tag Manager for accurate tracking and data flow.

    PHASE 6: QA & LAUNCH

    Purpose: To double-check accuracy before going live.

    Review checklist:

  • Ad copy reviewed
  • Final URLs tested
  • Conversion tracking active
  • Budget & bids checked
  • Audience targeting checked
  • Extensions added properly
  • No campaign conflicts
  • Launch campaign:

  • Schedule for peak hours
  • Monitor first 48 hours
  • Check CTR & conversions
  • Pause weak ad sets
  • Optimize based on data

  • Output: Campaign launched successfully.

    PHASE 7–8: MONITOR, OPTIMIZE & REPORT

    Purpose: To improve performance, maximize ROI, and clearly show what worked and what to optimize next.

    Monitor daily (first week):

  • Check impressions, CTR, CPC, and conversion tracking.
  • Pause poor-performing keywords/ads.
  • Optimize weekly:

  • Add negative keywords to block irrelevant clicks.
  • A/B test headlines or descriptions.
  • Adjust bids based on device/location/time.
  • Optimize landing pages:

  • Test CTA buttons, forms, or offers.

  • Output: Optimization log (date, change, result).

    Performance Reports

  • Weekly or monthly performance reports
  • Track spend, impressions, and clicks
  • Monitor conversions, CPA, and ROAS
  • Visualize data

  • Visual dashboards for easy tracking

  • Organized and simple data reporting
  • Add insights:

  • Insights on top-performing ads

  • PHASE 9: SCALE & RETAIN

    Purpose: To build on what works.
    Scale budgets on top-performing campaigns.
    Expand keywords or geographies where ROI is positive.
    Create new remarketing or lookalike campaigns using the best audience data.
    Refresh creatives every 4–6 weeks to avoid ad fatigue.
    Output: Next-phase campaign plan with scaling strategy.
